Savills Enhances Amadeus North America’s Brand Recognition with Office Relocation

CHALLENGE

The North American operations of Amadeus, a leading provider of advanced technology solutions for the global tourism and travel industry, sought counsel from Savills to secure a new location for its technology research & development center and business offices. Amadeus North America sought to accommodate continual growth and provide a more employee-centric environment.

SITUATION

Having outgrown its current location, Amadeus required space that allowed for continued expansion while offering an open work environment suitable for the collaborative nature of the software and technology industry. Amadeus required cutting-edge space that could enhance the company’s brand recognition and support retention and recruitment efforts.

RESULTS

Savills succeeded in securing favorable lease terms that fully clarified Amadeus’ long-term vision for its expansion and completed a transaction that effectively served the organization’s mission for the foreseeable future. Amadeus signed a lease for 56,000 square feet on the third floor of 1050 Winter Street at Boston Properties’ Bay Colony in Waltham. The new location accomodated Amadeus' plans for future growth in Boston, and its need to service travel industry customers throughout North America and the globe. The new amenities and increased branding opportunities offered at Bay Colony met these needs while providing the necessary workspace for a growing company.
