Global commercial real estate services firm Savills Studley announced today that Blake Anderson, an expert in industrial properties, supply chain management and logistics, has joined the firm’s Dallas office as Co-Branch Manager and Southwest Regional Industrial Services Leader. Anderson, who has 20 years of real estate experience, also holds the prestigious SIOR designation.  He comes to the company from Cushman & Wakefield.

Anderson is a leader in industrial tenant representation, applying a multi-disciplined, no-conflict approach to developing strategic real estate solutions on behalf of his clients. He has negotiated more than 850 transactions, valued at a total of $1.4 billion for such organizations as Konica Minolta, Joerns Healthcare, Pizza Inn, Bayer and Zales Corporation.

At Savills Studley, Anderson will be responsible for co-managing the Dallas office as well as growing the firm’s industrial services offering in the Southwest region of the United States.

“Blake brings to the firm extensive management and team building skills, profound industry knowledge and a depth of transaction experience that will significantly enhance our success in the marketplace,” said Savills Studley Executive Managing Director and Co-Branch Manager Frank McCafferty.

“It is truly an honor to join Savills Studley’s dynamic leadership team and help develop the region’s industrial services practice, leveraging a platform that is 100 percent tenant focused and service-oriented,” said Anderson. ”I look forward to building an incredible team, mentoring young professionals and creating a legacy of client success and long-term relationships.”

Anderson also noted the increasing importance of industrial real estate as e-commerce continues to dramatically alter both the industrial and retail landscapes. “Bringing products to customers faster and more efficiently is the top priority for companies and the C-suite is laser-focused on designing warehouse and distribution centers to achieve this objective,” he explained.

Anderson is active in numerous industry and community organizations. He serves on the Executive Board of SIOR’s North Texas Chapter and is a member of North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (NTCAR).
