Alex Phillips is an accomplished corporate tenant representative who is fluent in all aspects of strategic real estate planning, market analysis, financial modeling and complex lease negotiations. For over 15 years, Alex has been providing proactive real estate strategies that align occupancy solutions with his clients’ business goals. Alex prides himself on putting his clients first and tenaciously negotiating on their behalf to meet or exceed their business, cultural and financial objectives.
Operating out of the firm’s San Francisco office, Alex is a local market expert and has also completed transactions across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe and Asia. Alex specializes in the representation of high-growth technology companies, nonprofit organizations and professional services firms with headquarters or significant presences in the San Francisco Bay Area. Alex designs and implements innovative, flexible solutions that allow rapidly growing companies to intelligently manage their real estate portfolios as they scale.
Alex began his real estate career with The Staubach Company in 2004. He was then recruited by Mohr Partners to grow their new San Francisco office as a director of corporate accounts, where he focused on portfolio strategy and brokerage for over four years. Immediately prior to joining Savills, Alex was an associate vice president with UGL Equis (now Cushman & Wakefield)
Awards, Achievements and Activities
Alex is a member of Symphonix, the young professionals’ organization of the San Francisco Symphony, as well as San Francisco-based philanthropic network, Spark. Alex is also involved with The Global Fund for Women and Nothing But Nets, a global grassroots nonprofit campaigning to raise awareness and funding to fight malaria.
