David Finklea joined Savills in 2011. As a true visionary, David helps business owners develop efficient, effective workplaces for ideal prices. He currently focuses on companies in the industrial/manufacturing spaces, as well as those seeking corporate offices. His master planning and project development skills assure that operational functionality and financial modeling align with commercial real estate prospects. Additionally, he incorporates strategic planning, infrastructure finance, and consensus building within his client consultation.
Prior to working with Savills, David spent 10 years with Walter P. Moore as a Principal of the firm, responsible for positioning the firm and coaching owners on ways to increase project success by improving delivery processes. Even earlier in his career, David was Manager of Infrastructure Programs for the Greater Houston Partnership, where he managed 10 committees comprised of CEOs and Owners of engineering, law and public finance firms.
Awards, Achievements and Activities
David is the founder and executive director of Chain Reaction Ministries, a nonprofit aimed at repairing and donating bicycles to provide transportation for adults working to avoid homelessness. He is also on the Board of Visitors for Brite Divinity School at Texas Christian University.
David is a registered professional engineer in Texas, and his official licensed number is 89276. He was also voted 2016 Minister of the Year in the Coastal Plains Area by the Christian Church, Disciples of Christ.
