Evan Margolin has been with Savills since 2002 as a specialist in tenant representation. Evan leads a team that has developed a diverse practice, yet he remains focused on users of high-end, Class A office space, having represented well over 100 hedge funds and other boutique financial services firms in office leasing transactions. Based in the firm’s New York City office, Evan is thoroughly immersed in the Midtown Manhattan marketplace – knowing when leases expire in the top buildings, which firms are evaluating their real estate needs and what spaces are available, whether officially listed, or potentially available for sublease. Evan is known for exceeding his clients’ expectations and his desire to advance his clients’ business objectives throughout the entire transaction process.
Starting as an associate in 2002, after completing the sale of his family-owned business (and a short career as a day trader), Evan became immersed in the commercial real estate industry. Utilizing his marketing and business development skills, he quickly began building his book of business and earned his first promotion in less than six months. Evan is recognized as having the quickest ascent from associate to vice chairman in Savills history.
