George Santos is a senior managing director and senior vice president of brokerage operations in the Savills Baltimore office. With more than 30 years of commercial real estate experience, George specializes in leasing and investment sales in the Baltimore and Washington corridors with a focus on tenant representation. Throughout his career, George has gained invaluable experience that he puts towards every client transaction. From financial analysis and market research to transaction management and avid negotiations, George is effective at every stage of the transaction process as a trustworthy advisor.
Prior to joining Savills in 2016, George was a managing director and principal for the Baltimore region of Colliers International and previous to that was a senior vice president with Manekin, LLC.
Awards, Achievements and Activities
George was honored as the Baltimore Business Journal’s ‘#1 Real Estate Broker’ in 2008 and received its ‘Heavy Hitter Award’ for numerous years. He has also been awarded ‘Volunteer of the Year’ by the Howard County Chamber of Commerce and by CORFAC International, under the ‘Largest Value’ office deal category. He is an active member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP). He is also a current board member of Young Life Baltimore Urban, a member of the advisory board of GovConnects, and was a fundraiser/active member of SOZO. George was also past president of Hospice of Howard County and board member of Gilchrist Hospice Care.
George has also received CoStar’s Annual Power Broker Award, which recognizes a select number of brokerage firms and individual brokers who closed the highest overall transaction volumes in commercial property sales and leases within their respective markets for their exceptional deal-making accomplishments. George has received this honor multiple times.
