Jeffrey Harps is a member of the Capital Markets Group of Savills in the Washington, DC office. Since joining Savills in 2009, Jeff has supported the strategic decision- making process and resulting transactions for users and owners of real estate. As a senior analyst, Jeff creates custom financial models for associations, unions, nonprofits, developers and investors, including strategic plan portfolio analyses, lease versus own models, lease restructure analyses and pro formas.
On the transaction side, Jeff and his team excel at managing widespread marketing campaigns for the disposition of development sites and investment properties, followed by qualitative and quantitative offer analysis and due diligence coordination. Jeff also tracks and analyzes office and residential market data and regional zoning regulations to provide an up-to-date, detailed understanding of local and national conditions.
Jeff’s interest in commercial real estate began while working for a Washington, DC appraisal firm. He then developed a love for the transaction side of the business as an intern for Savills while still in college at Stanford University. Over the past 10-plus years, Jeff has become an expert on the analytical side of strategic planning efforts, capital markets transactions and tenant representation. Jeff goes above and beyond for his clients throughout the entire assignment to ensure real estate decisions align perfectly with clients’ business objectives.
