Since John Brady entered the commercial real estate profession in 1975, he has been consistently recognized as an industry leader in Silicon Valley, the San Francisco Bay Area, throughout the nation and across the globe. Specializing in corporate tenant representation, John provides necessary services such as market research and analysis, financial forecasting and modeling, and workplace strategy and logistics that aligns optimal real estate with his clients’ business objectives.
John mainly focuses on high-value, time-critical and complex transactions for emerging technology and life science companies. He is an expert in complete transaction management, as well as a skilled and persuasive negotiator within the industry. His zero-conflict, client- and tenant-first mentality brings a passionate ‘protect and defend’ approach to all of his real estate transactions from start to finish.
John’s more than 40-year career as a commercial real estate broker and entrepreneur was mostly spent running his own shop in California. For 37 years before joining Savills, John was the founding principal at Cresa, specifically known as the Cooper/Brady Partnership which Savills acquired in 2015. As a founder, he helped establish the company’s initial strategy, its organizational structure and the expansion of its offices and services throughout the United States. He was also involved in steering the mission and vision of the firm which eventually became a top tenant firm in the region.
Awards, Achievements and Activities
John is an associate member of CoreNet and member of the Association of Silicon Valley Brokers where he served as a director. He also played professional football for the Detroit Lions from 1973–1975.
