As a managing director in the Savills Washington, DC, office, John Gasque focuses on assisting law firms, associations, nonprofit organizations and corporations align their real estate needs with their corporate strategy. He is responsible for market research and strategic planning as well as advising his clients on the acquisition, leasing and disposition of space. John applies strong analytical skills and deep market knowledge to assist clients with the most complex real estate requirements.
Over the past five years, John has been involved in nearly 100 transactions accounting for more than 1.2 million square feet, while continuing to develop new business opportunities and further advance his existing client relationships. Although John’s focus is on tenants with a strong presence in Washington, DC, his expertise has taken him throughout the United States and abroad.
Prior to joining Savills in 2013, John was a research analyst at CBRE in Tysons, Virginia, where he was responsible for tracking, forecasting and reporting office market fundamentals and trends in the Mid-Atlantic region.

John was awarded the National Research Award of Excellence while at CBRE. As an active member of his personal and professional community, John has contributed time and material donations to local organizations such as JDRF, Washington Lawyers Committee and Innovations for Learning’s TutorMate program.
