Over the course of his more than 30-year career, José Oncina has completed more than 50 million square feet of commercial real estate transactions in over 150 countries. An expert in occupier services account management, José focuses on helping clients align their global workplace portfolios with business objectives, improving asset utilization efficiency by setting achievable goals and execution plans.
Based out of the firm’s Seattle office, José has advised companies across the Western United States and throughout the globe in industries ranging from technology to banking and engineering. With more than three decades of experience, José Oncina applies a wealth of knowledge and expertise to client solutions. In his role, José leads the firm’s occupier services efforts in the Western United States, focusing on meeting the needs of our clients and their increasing global portfolios. To do so, José leverages his and his team’s local, national and global insight, expert market research, in depth financial analyses and innovative workplace strategies to execute optimal and practical workplace solutions and transactions for clients.
José joined Savills from CBRE in London where he was a regional alliance director. In this role, José’s responsibilities included portfolio strategy, transaction management, project management, facilities management, lease administration, and sourcing. Prior to that, he was a managing director of client strategy in CBRE’s Seattle office where he was responsible for bringing thought leadership, best practices and platform resources to clients headquartered in the Western US. Prior to moving to the service side of the business, José was head of global real estate and facilities for Microsoft. Prior to Microsoft, José held various real estate development, asset management and finance roles in national and regional commercial real estate and consulting companies.
