Over the course of her more than 22-year career, Marlene Spritzer, JD, CCIM, has represented corporate end users, both tenants and owner-occupants, in their commercial real estate pursuits. Her corporate occupiers have required advisory services to obtain lab, office, industrial and flex facilities throughout the Raleigh-Durham region and across the country. She has also worked in nearly every business sector including life sciences, industrial, legal, healthcare, retail, financial services and TAMI.
Marlene’s unique background as an attorney and undergraduate scholar of chemistry, combined with her Certified Commercial Investment Management (CCIM) certification and over twenty-two of commercial real estate transactional experience, makes her a formidable force in the life sciences, legal and corporate industries. Her vast knowledge of these fields and ability to effectively communicate with clients allow Marlene to grasp a thorough understanding of their businesses in order to effectively develop real estate solutions that align with their short- and long-term business goals. Ultimately, her overarching goal is to maximize space efficiency while enhancing corporate culture and minimizing the risk and expense of real estate.
Marlene began her professional career practicing law in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia before moving to North Carolina. After almost two years with Dewey & Lebouf, she moved onto becoming an attorney for health affairs at Duke University. Marlene then commenced her commercial real estate career with Morris Commercial Real Estate and subsequently GVA Advantis. Nine years of learning the industry led Marlene to founding her own company where she remained for almost eight years. Afterwards, Marlene joined Cresa where she brokered for five years before joining Savills.
