Nick Ellis is an avid tenant representative for companies seeking commercial real estate that aligns with their short- and long-term business objectives. An expert in his field for over 25 years, Nick brings a wealth of knowledge in local and national market research, financial forecasting and modeling, transaction management and lease negotiations to his clients’ real estate pursuits. His ability to develop and implement innovative, cost-efficient workplace strategies allows his clients to maximize their bottom line while increasing functionality and company culture simultaneously.
At the forefront of Nick’s ability to advise companies is his ability to build rapport with his clients by communicating effectively and efficiently. Throughout his career, he has worked with numerous multi-location corporate clients that desired comprehensive, strategic advisory services as they related to financial optimization and advantageous site selection. His ability to understand both their immediate and local needs, as well as their overarching company visions, allows him and his client to produce successful transactions. Whether his clients are in AEC, life sciences, financial services, nonprofit or professional services Nick is able to identify his clients’ needs and implement positive transactions.
Prior to joining Savills in 2016, Nick was employed by Kimley-Horn for 21 years where he served in various capacities. Nick served from as a principal and senior vice president for 15 years, 13 of which he was Chief Financial Officer and treasurer.
Awards, Achievements and Activities
Nick is the vice chairman of the Tammy Lynn Endowment Board, which works with the Tammy Lynn Center to empower and enrich the lives of those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. He is also a founder and current chairman of Living with Autism which is a non-profit dedicated to providing group homes and to helping those burdened with autism to develop the life skills they need. Professionally, Nick is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and an active member of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) nonprofit.
