Ted Skirbunt operates as a tenant advisor out of Savills New York office. In his role, Ted specializes in providing real estate advisory services for entities within financial services, nonprofit sectors, law, healthcare, architecture, engineering and construction. Ted’s analytical approach, coupled with his unique market expertise, allows him to generate effective real estate strategies that achieve financial objectives and align with each organization’s mission and strategic vision. To do so, Ted delivers data visualization, market research and analytics, financial models and overall transaction management. In addition, he implements strategic planning and KPI formulation to assure his clients meet and/or surpass their business objectives.
As the director of Savills Workthere Americas, Ted assists end-users of space find flexible real estate that their company can fit perfectly into, and which perfectly fits their budget. These spaces are available for any business of any size to obtain high-functioning spaces for short- or long-term occupancy.
Prior to joining Savills New York office in 2018 to manage Workthere Americas, Ted worked at the Washington DC office since 2013. Prior to that, he was with the nonprofit Washington, DC Economic Partnership. While there he facilitated economic development citywide. He also served as director of real estate research for the Capitol Riverfront Business Improvement District (BID). At the BID, Ted managed a mixed-use portfolio comprising over $9 billion in real estate development in and around Nationals Park and the Washington Navy Yard. He also provided economic and granular demographic analyses that helped facilitate over 125,000 square feet of retail leases and commercial investment sales totaling $500 million.

Awards, Achievements and Activities
Ted helps fundraise for the annual Women & Wine Auction benefitting breast cancer research at the Georgetown University Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center and has also served as a volunteer basketball coach for Special Olympics Virginia.
