CHALLENGE

Convene, a global leader in hospitality and flexible workplace solutions, engaged Macro, now operating as Savills Program & Project Management, to lead the full interior fit-out of an 800-person conference and event center at 30 Hudson Yards.

The project transformed a former two-level movie theater into a premier corporate event venue - an undertaking that required extensive demolition, structural modifications, and the seamless integration of advanced technology to support Convene’s operational and hospitality standards.

SOLUTION

Our team provided end-to-end leadership across all phases of delivery, including design coordination, demolition planning, complex interior build-out, and comprehensive MEP integration. We also managed a highly technical permitting and regulatory process, navigating public assembly requirements, stadium seating removal, and slab infill while maintaining schedule certainty within an active, high-profile development.

In parallel, our team led rigorous budget, procurement, and vendor management efforts - aligning premium finishes, sophisticated audiovisual systems, and hospitality-driven amenities with Convene’s performance expectations and financial objectives.
