Following the successful completion of Comcast’s corporate headquarters at 171 JFK Boulevard, Comcast expanded its partnership with Macro, now operating as Savills Program & Project Management, selecting the firm to provide full-scope owner’s representation for the Comcast Technology Center - one of the most ambitious, complex, and visible corporate developments ever undertaken in Philadelphia.

From the earliest stages of pre-development, our team assumed a central role as Comcast’s strategic advisor and execution partner, taking full accountability for the planning, coordination, governance, and delivery of a program exceeding 1.3 million square feet and representing a multi-billion-dollar investment. Given the project’s scale and prominence - both operationally and symbolically - success demanded an unwavering level of rigor, responsiveness, and commitment.

We integrated seamlessly with Comcast’s internal leadership, development partners, consultants, and contractors, operating as a true extension of the client’s organization. The team devoted itself fully to the program, working across nights, weekends, and holidays to manage relentless timelines, evolving scope, and an extraordinary volume of interdependent workstreams. The engagement required continuous executive-level decision support, rapid scenario analysis, and disciplined oversight in an environment where change was constant and outcomes were highly visible.

A defining element of the assignment was the uncompromising cost discipline. We established and enforced comprehensive financial controls throughout all phases of the project, maintaining accountability amid ongoing design evolution, highly specialized environments—including advanced broadcast studios—and complex technical infrastructure. Despite these variables, the program was delivered under budget and ahead of schedule, driven by proactive leadership, transparent reporting, and decisive issue resolution.

In parallel, Savills led extensive change management and stakeholder alignment, bringing together diverse user groups, operational teams, and senior leadership around shared objectives. This work included guiding workforce transition strategies, sequencing occupancy and relocations, and preserving business continuity as multiple buildings were integrated into a cohesive, five-building campus.

We also supported long-term strategic planning, partnering with Comcast to develop a five-year reconfiguration and growth roadmap that enables the Technology Center to adapt to future operational, technological, and organizational change.

The completed Comcast Technology Center stands as a transformational, skyline-defining development and a testament to disciplined execution under extreme complexity. Through comprehensive owner’s representation, total commitment, and uncompromising accountability, our team helped deliver a landmark project that meets Comcast’s highest standards for performance, flexibility, and long-term value.
