Professional Expertise 

Bob Berry is the Vice Chairman in the Savills Houston office leading the Industrial Services group. With over 40 years of experience in industrial occupier representation, Bob provides clients invaluable expertise when working with companies on cost and risk-reduction strategies, build-to-suit projects, lease restructuring, and disposition of surplus properties. In his career, he has negotiated over $15 billion of industrial leases, acquisitions, and dispositions.

Bob joined Savills in 2020 after leading the industrial team in the Houston office of Avison Young for five years. Before joining Avison Young, he served as Executive Vice President of JLL/Staubach, specializing in industrial tenant representation, sales, and dispositions for over 15 years. Bob also was a partner with Brown, Berry & Company for a decade before joining Staubach.

Awards, Achievements and Activities

Throughout his career, Bob has received many awards and acknowledgments for his exceptional work. Bob was named JLL’s Top Producing Industrial Broker in the country in 2008, 2009, and 2012. He was also awarded JLL’s Staubach “Top Gun” designation from 2002-2014, recognizing the company’s top 20 brokers. Bob was Avison Young’s number-two global producer in 2016, 2017, and 2018. NAIOP inducted him into its Broker of the Year Hall of Fame in 2012, after being a four-time winner of the organization’s Industrial Broker of the Year. The Houston Business Journal also inducted Bob into the Heavy Hitter Hall of Fame in 2011. He is an active member of NAIOP and the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR).
