Christopher Hemans is Corporate Managing Director in Savills Charlotte office, where he works with a talented and diverse team of professionals dedicated to helping organizations meet their business goals and enable employees to thrive through real estate. Chris has successfully worked with public officials, developers and investors throughout his career and brings this wealth of knowledge and relationships to Savills.

Chris joined Savills in 2019, after spending nearly 20 years working in economic development in Chicago and Charlotte. Prior to joining the firm, Chris worked for Charlotte Center City Partners for five years in various economic development roles to recruit office and retail users to Charlotte’s Center City. He served in similar roles for the City of Chicago and the Illinois Coalition of Science and Technology before moving to Charlotte.

Awards, Achievements and Activities

Locally, Chris has served on the boards of the Stratford-Richardson YMCA and the Hospitality House of Charlotte, and nationally on the International Council of Shopping Centers’ RECon planning committee.
