David Fletcher is the Executive Director of Project Management in Savills Washington, DC office, responsible for coordinating and managing the delivery of client’s projects from site selection through occupancy. Dave’s focus on partnership, collaborative communication and problem solving are core elements of his approach to delivering for clients. His experience and leadership in expectation management, project cost, and schedule serve to unite all members of the project team to achieve common goals. David has extensive experience and deep relationships with architects, contractors and subcontractors that he leverages to effectively deliver for his clients. A 28-year career in tenant construction has given Dave a diverse and complete understanding of tenants’ needs and the pressures they face to execute their vision.

Prior to joining Savills, Dave rose through the operational ranks at rand* construction corporation, a tenant-only commercial general contractor in Washington, DC. As a Principal of rand*, Dave’s extensive experience in constructing challenging high-end projects and managing complex cost structures was an exceptional benefit to clients, including Volkswagen North America, The Washington Post, Choice Hotels, and top DC law firms such as Clifford Chance and Sidley Austin.

Over two decades, Dave’s accomplished projects have won over 75 awards for quality and craftsmanship. His work has been recognized by organizations such as NAIOP, Associated Builders and Contractors, the Washington Building Congress, and CoreNet. Dave is an active participant in local organizations such as the Washington Building Congress, and NAIOP. He also dedicates his time in the community to volunteering at his church and his children’s schools. Dave is an avid classic car enthusiast and can be found most weekends at a car show.
