David Tipton joined Savills in 2015 as a veteran corporate advisor in the Palo Alto district in California. With over 30 years of practiced experience in the industry, David brings a wealth of knowledge in aligning corporate objectives with optimal real estate transactions for his clients. David specializes in technology, life sciences, software and financial services companies as he works in the hub of the tech industry.
A tenured broker, David has completed transactions across the board including leases, sales, purchases, land entitlements, build-to-suits, relocations and more. His vast background has provided him with multiple insights and perspectives about different business objectives and he is able to provide a breadth of services including market research, financial forecasting, workplace strategy, transaction management and lease negotiations for all of his clients.
Prior to joining Savills, David was a partner at Cresa Partners for 15 years whose firm was subsequently acquired by Savills. While there, David built a base of clientele and honed his skills in client relations, as well as his brokerage expertise.
Awards, Achievements and Activities
As an active member in his community, David is a leader of the Las Lomita Education Foundation that helps to hold the high standard of the region’s prestigious school system. He has also been recognized professionally as a national ‘Top Broker’ in 2002 for his successful completion of over 1.4 million square feet of leasing in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties.
