Over the course of his 15-plus years on the tenant and landlord sides of real estate, James Curtin has gained practical knowledge in multiple aspects of the market. His ability to perform lease audits and administrations allows his clients to maximize their real estate potential – both financially and operationally. As manager of lease audit for Savills, James has identified and realized over $7 million in savings for his clientele.
James is a detail-oriented, analytical multi-tasker that is able to manage an audit with persistence and consistency throughout the entire process. James is also well-known for his strong negotiation and communication skills, which allows him to leverage his clients’ contracts as well as uphold positive relationships between tenants and landlords.
Prior to joining Savills, James had a successful career on the tenant side as a senior lease auditor for Liz Claiborne, Toys ”R” Us and Footstar Corporations where James directly contributed to over $2 million in audit savings. To round out his skill set, James joined the landlord’s side as a senior lease administrator for Related Management Company out of New York City for 7 years.

James is currently a member of the National Retail Tenant Association (NRTA), which educates all forms of tenants from corporate and industrial tenants to retail and office tenants.
