Kelly Givens brings 40 years of diverse experience and skillsets in architecture, construction, asset management, development and transaction management to Savills Corporate Services Group. As a senior transaction consultant, Kelly’s primary responsibility is to assess all workspace and technical facility requirements (occupier space demands) and to uncover, explore and analyze the costs, timing and feasibility of all potential, existing and to-be-built occupancy solutions. His experience of aligning the performance metrics of workplace design and project capital yields substantial value to clients throughout the scope of an assignment. Kelly helps occupiers of real estate define their workplace requirements and helps them to understand specific performance of their available solutions.
Active in the real estate and development industry since 1980, he has designed, built and managed a broad range of product types including corporate headquarters, telecommunications and broadcasting facilities, data centers and research and development facilities. His active involvement in controlling the design process and his direct relations with contractors and material fabricators materially reduces the capital cost required to deliver a project. His approach of designing projects to a specified unit cost profile with pre-established cost indexes, subsequently tied to contract performance, has enabled Kelly to forecast extremely accurate capital cost expenditures well in advance of the project delivery date.
Based in the firm’s Orange County office in Newport Beach, Kelly has been the lead professional and cost engineer on some of the largest commercial Real Estate Transactions in the country and is arguably one of the most experienced real estate professionals in the country when it comes to the delivery of the built environment. Kelly has established himself as a reputable broker and architect who can effectively advise clients throughout the real estate procurement and delivery process.
