Laura Knaus is an Associate Director at Savills, based in Denver, where she advises business leaders on real estate strategies that support growth, operational objectives, and long-term value.

Knaus partners with clients on site selection, portfolio strategy, lease negotiations, financial analysis and workplace planning across office, laboratory and flex/R&D environments. Working across local, national and global markets, she helps organizations evaluate how location and real estate decisions affect cost, operations, talent and future growth. Her industry experience spans professional services and innovation driven industries, including life sciences/biotechnology, aerospace and defense, artificial intelligence and other deep technology sectors.

Known for an analytical and client-focused approach, Knaus combines financial modeling, market intelligence and transaction expertise to help clients evaluate complex real estate decisions and understand their broader business implications. She works closely with clients and Savills specialists across disciplines to develop and execute strategies that balance near-term requirements with longer-term objectives.

Prior to joining Savills, Laura was a Senior Associate at Cushman & Wakefield in Denver, where she advised executives on portfolio strategy and complex real estate decisions. Earlier in her career, she facilitated more than $40 million in residential real estate transactions in Austin and supported luxury residential development projects in Aspen.

Awards, achievements and activities

Laura is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Real Estate and the Built Environment at the University of Denver's Daniels College of Business. She is an active member of the Colorado Bioscience Association, a graduate of the Denver Metro Chamber's Impact Denver program, and an alumna of the Susan Stanton Foundation's inaugural class of future real estate leaders. Laura graduated with honors from The University of Texas at Austin and serves on the board of the Denver Texas Exes chapter.
