Michael Royce is Corporate Managing Director in Savills Suburban Washington, D.C. office. He is responsible for business development and the establishment of the mid-Atlantic industrial property services group. The growth of this service line supports the expansion of the firm’s established market leading client representation platform. Savills experience and professional approach to client solutions for commercial use properties will be integral part of the extended industrial business service line.

Michael is a highly experienced executive leader who has achieved stellar outcomes for clients for over 39 years. Prior to joining Savills, Michael was an Executive Senior Vice President for KLNB, leading a dedicated three-member team that reestablished a formal industrial practice group. As a Principal at Avison Young, he led a team that closed the largest lease transaction (500,400 square feet) within the Washington, D.C. region in 2018. During his tenure as Managing Director for Cassidy Turley, he was responsible for leasing a 1 million square foot multi-property portfolio and closed the largest industrial portfolio sale in the region with a value of $350 million. His career has also included leadership roles at Cushman & Wakefield, and 18 years at Carey Winston/Transwestern Commercial Services.

Awards, Achievements and Activities

Michael is an active member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP), and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP). He is also a member of the Maryland Regional Manufacturers Association. During his career, he has received numerous awards for his professional accomplishments including the Costar Power Broker Award, Top 10 Industrial Property broker award from 2010 to 2022 and the GWCAR award from 2005 to 2010.
