For over 30 years, Royce Sharf has focused on strategic real estate planning for national law firms and technology companies. He established Savills Orange County operation in 1987 and serves as the managing principal for its office in Newport Beach. Throughout his tenured career, Royce has represented tenants in more than 11 million square feet of transactions totaling over $2.5 billion.
Royce is an authority in lease negotiations, representing many of the area’s most prominent law firms, technology companies and other corporate space users. Some of Royce’s notable corporate headquarters assignments include some of Orange County’s largest employers such as Western Digital, LPA, Quest Software, Emulex, Panasonic Avionics and Pacific Life.
Royce’s credibility with real estate media and organizations has established him as an expert resource in Orange County. He often serves on industry panels and is frequently quoted in regional and national dailies, business journals and real estate trade publications. His amiable, client-first personality as a broker has earned him industry-wide respect both with his clients and fellow brokers.
Royce is also among the select group of partners who purchased the firm from its founder in 2002.
Awards, Achievements and Activities
Royce led a team of Savills brokers in founding the Savills Southern California Community Involvement Committee. This task force selects various charities in the Southern California region for dedicated volunteerism and financial philanthropic gifts. Royce received Savills’ first ever Community Involvement Award for his commitment to community service.
Royce is a member of the board of directors at the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation, UC Irvine Graduate School of Management Real Estate Advisory Council and the Corona del Mar Foundation.
