Scott Wetzel is Executive Managing Director in Savills Orange County office. Scott brings a wealth of experience and commitment to helping clients realize their commercial real estate objectives. With over a decade of experience specializing in occupier services with an emphasis on tenant representation, Scott has built a well-regarded professional reputation among clients and colleagues.

Prior to joining Savills, Scott spent 12 years at JLL, advancing through an array of roles, including Senior Vice President, Executive Vice President, and most recently, Managing Director. During his tenure, he expertly advised occupiers of office and industrial commercial real estate with their leased and owned assets. Scott’s clients have ranged from scaling start-ups such as Oculus VR to Fortune 500 companies like Facebook. Notable transactions include securing 200,000 square feet for Mitsubishi Motors across multiple leasing and sales assignments and over 200,000 square feet for GameWorks’ national portfolio. His areas of focus included workplace strategy, site selection (locally and nationally), and having significant knowledge of labor analytics and supply chain networks that contribute to commercial real estate decisions.

Scott has received honors and recognition for his professional accomplishments in the industry. His awards include multiple years as JLL’s Gold Achiever, Top Achiever, Associate of the Year and Most Transactions Completed. He is an active member of NAIOP’s Southern California division and a former member of its Young Professionals Group (YPG). Scott also is a charitable supporter of several causes including organizations benefiting animal rights, arts and culture, economic empowerment and education.
