A member of the Downtown Los Angeles office since 2018, Shannon Woodcock is the managing director of workplace strategy across Southern California, including Downtown LA, West LA, Orange County and San Diego. In her role, Shannon partners with brokerage and project management teams to add value in a variety of ways. While brokers use expertise to find sites aligned with a client’s essential real estate needs, Shannon acts as a client advocate by providing guidance on aspects of workplace planning to promote the client’s business plan and required workstyles. Using data collection and end-user engagements, Shannon specialized in uncovering the needs of clients that are often difficult to identify using the client’s internal resources.
Prior to site-selection, Shannon works with client leadership alongside the broker to determine the appropriate range of SF required for the client. Beyond site-selection, she can engage the client further to determine the attributes, metrics, and measures of success of the future space, which can then be passed along to the architect and/or designer. In order to do so effectively, she specializes in conducting scalable, customized sessions with clients to better understand their needs as individuals, teams or departments and the business at large. From there, Shannon conducts a current state analysis as well as preliminary and comprehensive programming – each requiring various levels of interaction with the client from headcount analysis to executive visioning. This allows her to develop an innovative, advantageous solution that an architect/designer can implement.
Prior to joining Savills, Shannon was an associate and senior design strategist at HLW International. Before that, she worked for UBS Wealth Management as a designer and strategist on behalf of Cushman & Wakefield.
