Tim Carlson is an Executive Managing Director in the Savills Minneapolis office. He is responsible for providing tenants with all-encompassing advisory services that allow their companies to make the best financial and operational decisions in alignment with their business objectives. Tim’s sound understanding of his clients’ businesses ensures their needs are met every step of the way. He leverages his extensive experience to help clients streamline internal processes, creating value for the business.

Prior to joining Savills, Tim spent 20 years at Cresa, where he climbed the ranks, starting as an Advisor and elevating to Principal after 10 years. His most recent position at the firm was Managing Principal, where he has led numerous major deals across the nation for several large companies and institutions. Tim’s experience has enabled him to develop a system that has continuously delivered exceptional savings to clients.

Awards, Achievements and Activities

Tim is highly engaged in the professional and local community through volunteerism and service. He is a member of the Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors (MNCAR), and the University of Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association (UWREAA). Tim also lends his time to valuable causes. He is a board member and operations manager of Laramie Range Adventures for Veterans (LRAV), an organization that supports and provides positive outdoor experiences to veterans. Tim also volunteers as a Coach for The Honor Foundation, a nonprofit that helps veterans transition to civilian careers.
