In addition to major tech companies like Amazon, Google, and Facebook requiring return to work standards in Q1, many tech companies of all sizes are asking employees to return to office two or three days a week. We expect the voluntary adoption of returning to work to morph to governance measures and perhaps mandates in future quarters, as labor force dynamics shift among the tech sector.

Savills Tech Cities identifies the global cities that matter most to tech. Sixteen North American cities are included in Savills overall top 30 ranking with San Francisco, New York and Silicon Valley leading as the top three. While big cities dominate, tech specialisms such as AI, ClimateTech and DeepTech are growing quickly in secondary global markets.
