Amid continued strength in Charlotte’s industrial market, tenant demand pivots
The Queen City continues to experience strong demand as it proves to be a premier industrial hot spot in the Southeast. With 2.0 million square feet (msf) leased in the third quarter, tenant demand for spaces that range from 50,000 to 250,000 square feet (sf) continues to accelerate. As leasing remains robust, a shift in tenants becomes apparent with an uptick of interest in the manufacturing sector, which requires larger power infrastructure. This includes EV battery, solar and lithium, like Silfab Solar’s new lease in York County.
