Leasing activity maintains momentum in first half of 2025
Positive leasing momentum continued in Q2 2025, with the Dallas-Fort Worth office market seeing 3.2 million square feet (msf) leased. Leasing activity was up approximately 35.0% for the first half of 2025 compared to last year. With leasing continuing to hold firm, the Dallas-Fort Worth office market is showing signs of stability. While the Dallas-Fort Worth economy is diverse, the financial services sector is a key industry for the metro, seeing steady positive job growth. Additionally, the financial services and insurance industry was one of the most active this quarter, accounting for five of the top 10 leases. With the anticipation of the New York Stock Exchange launching NYSE Texas, the demand outlook specifically within the financial services sector is optimistic.
