Savills Carolinas Offices ‘Do Good, Feel Good’
This year the firm’s Carolinas offices in Charlotte and Raleigh-Durham sponsored the second annual Savills College Basketball Bracket Challenge for charity.
We established a prize pool of $3,000 and invited our clients, prospects, market leaders and friends to participate and channel their passion for the NCAA tournament toward supporting good causes. Winners from each market earned bragging rights and the opportunity to nominate a charity of their choosing to receive a donation. First place winners receive $1,000 and runners up get $500. The amount is split equally in the event of a tie.
I am proud to announce our 2019 Bracket Challenge Champions and their charities:
Rank Name Market Charity
1st Roger Cobb Charlotte Right Moves for Youth
2nd (Tied) Dana Ellis Charlotte Habitat for Humanity
2nd (Tied) Jed Seifert Charlotte Seeking Employment, Equality & Community (SEEC)
1st Jeff Langlois Raleigh-Durham Alzheimer’s Association and Nuçi's Space
2nd Kaler Walker Raleigh-Durham Susan G. Komen
One of our mottoes in the Carolinas offices is “Do good, feel good.” We try to keep that good feeling going all year long through charitable activities with organizations like A Child’s Place, Camp Blue Skies and JDRF. Whether it’s servant leadership, volunteering time or underwriting material donations, our firm is dedicated to the support of charitable organizations nationally and locally.
Savills has been a philanthropic trailblazer setting the tone for generous giving and community involvement within the commercial real estate community for years. With a history of specialization in tenant representation, advocacy and action are at the core of who we are and what we do.
Congratulations to our winners and their charities!
