The Real Estate Development and Facilities Department (RED+F) is responsible for over 12 million square feet of space and regularly partners with highly skilled outsource healthcare facilities specialists to supplement its in-house team. For more than a decade, Macro, now operating as Savills Program & Project Management, has built a long-standing on-call agreement with NYU Langone Health, partnering closely and supporting a wide range of real estate projects, including infrastructure upgrades, energy building, as well as disaster restoration.

Savills Program & Project Management served as NYU Langone Health’s go-to emergency response team for the health system’s disaster planning, ensuring that facilities were prepared for another Hurricane Sandy-level event. Services provided included flood mitigation project management, testing/inspections coordination, contract verification and closeout, budgeting, scheduling and other sub-projects under FEMA Guidelines.
