CHICAGO (Sept. 8, 2026)—Savills announces that it has represented Picadeli US, an innovative, tech-enabled fresh-food company, in a long-term lease for its first Chicago flagship at 225 W Washington Street in the Loop. Savills Executive Managing Director Phillip Golding represented Agave Holdings as landlord and Savills Managing Director Reuben Rischall represented Picadeli on the transaction.
“225 W Washington provides Picadeli with a highly visible location in the heart of Chicago’s central business district as the company introduces its flagship concept to the market,” said Golding. “We are excited to support Picadeli as it establishes this next chapter of its U.S. growth.”
The new location opens on September 9 and marks an important step in Picadeli’s continued U.S. expansion, establishing a dedicated flagship in the heart of Chicago’s central business district. Savills advised Picadeli throughout the real estate process, helping the company identify a location that supports its growth strategy and introduces its fresh, customizable food concept directly to downtown Chicago consumers.
“Picadeli brings a differentiated concept to the Loop that aligns well with what today’s downtown consumers are looking for – quality and healthy ingredients with a convenient and engaging experience,” added Rischall.
The self-service concept combines convenience and choice with technology designed to ensure optimal freshness, food safety and operational ease. Temperature-controlled compartments, patented airflow refrigeration, shielding hoods and utensil mounting systems help maintain freshness, reduce waste and prevent cross-contamination.
“Americans are looking for fresh, healthy and safe food that is not only accessible, but affordable, particularly now when food prices continue to be a pain point,” said Patrik Hellstrand, CEO of Picadeli. “Our expansion throughout the United States seeks to solve this problem, and we’re excited to take the next step by bringing the Picadeli experience directly to downtown Chicago.”
Picadeli offers a broad assortment of fresh vegetables, leafy greens, grains, proteins, toppings and salads, allowing customers to build customized meals based on their tastes and appetite. Salads will be priced at $7.99 per pound, reinforcing Picadeli’s belief that choosing fresh food should not require paying a premium.
