Janet Woods is the President of Savills North America, responsible for overseeing the firm’s revenue-producing functions while working closely with its North American CEO and broader leadership team.

She works alongside Savills regional and local market leaders, and business function leads, to implement the firm’s strategic plan and uphold the connectivity and collaboration that has long been a hallmark of Savills. She continues to serve as a member of the firm’s Executive Board and as an Executive Sponsor to a number of internal groups.

Janet previously served as President, East Region, where she had oversight of the firm’s Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and Central regions. In that role, she worked closely with senior, regional and local leadership on recruitment and retention initiatives, with the North American leadership team on mergers and acquisitions, and on the development of objectives and execution of plans that aligned with Savills corporate strategies.

Janet, who has more than 30 years of experience, has been a top-producing brokerage professional and held several leadership positions over the course of her career.

Before joining Savills in 2019 as the Northeast Region lead, Janet spent over three years as a regional director and regional managing director at Stan Johnson Company. As a member of the firm’s national executive team and Board, she successfully led the firm’s East Coast expansion plans by recruiting producers, launching additional branches, and supporting its overall growth initiatives. Janet was also the national group leader of the corporate finance team. Prior to Stan Johnson, Janet also held executive positions at Cushman & Wakefield, JLL, and as a principal for The Staubach Company. Janet’s transaction experience includes work in investment sales assisting municipalities, nonprofit and education organizations with their real estate needs.
