Based in Washington, DC, Sarah Dreyer is Vice President and Head of Americas Research. In this role, she oversees all research and market analysis activities throughout Savills offices in the United States and Canada. Additionally, she is the dedicated head of research for Savills Legal Tenant Practice Group.
Sarah provides the firm’s real estate advisors with vital information that helps to best serve current and prospective clients; develops research to position Savills as a thought-leader in the business community; and oversees the production of research reports, services and tools for her region. In her work with the Legal Tenant Practice Group, she applies this insight specifically to the firm’s law firm clients, focusing on trends and market dynamics relating to the legal industry. Sarah also partners with the brokerage, technology, workplace strategy, project management and marketing teams to ensure all of our clients receive cutting-edge information and support.
With more than 10 years of experience, Sarah is widely recognized as a market expert and trusted advisor by colleagues, clients and investors. Prior to her role at Savills, Sarah was Head of Research for Vornado/Charles E. Smith in Arlington, Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic Regional Research Director for Cushman & Wakefield based in Washington, DC.
Awards, Achievements and Activities
Sarah currently serves on the board of directors for both The George Washington University Real Estate & Finance Alumni (REFA) Program and the NAIOP DC/MD Chapter and is an active member of CREBA (Commercial Real Estate Brokerage Association DC). She is also a long-time volunteer with JDRF and chair of the DC JDRF Real Estate Games, raising over $500,000 annually to cure Type 1 diabetes.
Sarah is a Washington Business Journal ’40 Under 40’ honoree, March of Dimes ‘Heroine of Washington’, DCA Live ‘Rising Star’ in commercial real estate, Bisnow Media ’35 Under 35’ and one of George Mason University’s ‘Prominent Patriots’. NAIOP also awarded her their ‘National Developing Leader Award’, ‘DC/MD Chapter Member of the Year’ and ‘Chapter Award for Best Developing Leaders Program’.
