Scott Weiss serves as executive managing director at Savills as an avid tenant representative. With over 17 years of experience, Scott has built a virtuous reputation as a leading commercial real estate advisor to a broad range of companies throughout New York City. His deep understanding of the market and knowledge of what affects tenants the most, allows him to cater to each client’s business objectives and solve for the optimal real estate solution.
Over the course of his extensive career, Scott has advised companies with numerous complex transactions ranging from new leases and restructurings to relocations and dispositions. By way of in-depth market research, trend analysis, financial modeling and punctual transaction management, Scott is able to negotiate flexible, advantageous transactions for his clients.
Prior to Savills, Scott worked as a tenant and landlord representative at Colliers ABR in New York City, as well as in London for ING Barings’ Structured Finance Group and Edward Jones.
Awards, Achievements and Activities
Scott was part of the team awarded the prestigious ‘Ingenious Deal of the Year’ award from the Real Estate Board of New York for their work on behalf of The New York Law School. The project was a multi-faceted assignment that ultimately redeveloped the 500,000-square-foot Tribeca campus.
Scott is an active member of the Real Estate Board of New York and the Washington University in St. Louis Alumni Association of New York.
