Zak Mirkowski began representing corporate clients for Savills in 2018, after working with such names as JLL and Cushman & Wakefield (formerly DTZ). In his multiple years in the Greater Chicago Area, Zak’s primary goal has been to provide expert analysis and implementation of business solutions for corporations seeking real estate guidance. His key focus has been on capital preservation by placing companies in necessary space that will give them the best return on their investments.
Zak has represented clients in multiple disciplines, including site selection, market analysis, negotiations of acquisition, disposition and leasing of commercial and industrial real estate. He also administers effective transaction management to the satisfaction of all of his clients, as well as full-service corporate real estate account management. As a member of the firm’s Industrial Services Group (ISG), Zak leads his local team out of the Chicago office in the heart of downtown.
Awards, Achievements and Activities
As a student at Indiana University, Zak started his own business, in charge of finance, inventory, marketing and even obtaining the rights to sell. Zak’s natural aptitude for business became his springboard into commercial real estate, where he promptly distinguished himself as one of JLL’s ‘Young Gun’ leaders. Now, Zak is on the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) and National Association for Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP).
