Gregg Healy Joins Savills as Head of Industrial Services Group

Industry veteran brings workforce analytics and supply chain expertise to the new role

ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. (July 16, 2021) – Savills today announced that Gregg Healy joined the firm as executive vice president and head of the Industrial Services Group in North America. Based out of the Orange County office, Healy will manage Savills industrial practice in the US and Canada.

In his new role, Healy’s primary responsibilities will include expanding the group into all essential North American industrial markets, broadening platform offerings and supporting the team’s business pursuits.

“We sought someone for this leadership position who would complement our current roster of industrial experts, drive results and expand the Savills North America industrial practice,” said David Lipson, president of Savills. “Gregg’s proven experience, teamed with his strong business acumen, cover these objectives and beyond. I am confident that his professional expertise, personable nature and results-driven approach will bring value to our clients and our broader brokerage and consulting platform.”

Healy is an expert in third-party logistics and supply chain management, with deep knowledge of sourcing, manufacturing, warehousing and distribution solutions and trends. Before joining Savills, Healy spent nearly five years in several leadership roles at Colliers International. In his most recent position as head of location strategy, Healy supported more than 600 brokerage professionals on the firm’s Workforce Analytics and Supply Chain Solutions teams. He is credited with launching the company’s Supply Chain Solutions practice in 2016, which grew into a multimillion-dollar business and played a significant role in securing many strategic accounts.

“I’m thrilled to take on this new challenge and excited to lead this dedicated and talented team at Savills. With a structural shift in e-commerce, demand for industrial product, for both distribution and manufacturing uses will only increase, and therefore, the Industrial Services Group is an essential service line within the Savills North America integrated offering,” said Healy. “The commercial real estate landscape has changed so much over the past year, and I know that my market knowledge, skills and experience will be put to excellent use serving our clients as the industrial market growth continues to evolve.”

Before Colliers, Healy was president and CEO of Smart Turn Logistics Inc., a startup he founded in 2014. He also served as vice president and a board member at Komyo America, a subsidiary of Honda Motors Japan, where he led large teams across North America for almost 11 years and launched the company’s Mexico operation in 2008. Healy has also lived and worked in Europe and Asia, and he speaks several languages.
