CALGARY, Alberta (October 29, 2020) – Savills completed a headquarters relocation for True North Mortgage, one of Canada’s leading mortgage brokerages. True North will double its footprint and move to a 14,000 square-foot full-floor in Tower Four of Bow Valley Square in December 2020.

True North was represented by Savills Senior Managing Director Josh Hamill, Vice President Adam Stewart, and Transaction Manager Jessica Downie.

True North previously occupied a 7,400 square-foot partial-floor in Tower Two of Bow Valley Square, but quickly outgrew its space due to its expanding workforce. The Savills team located an appropriate sublease in Tower Four with an option for a long-term extension. Working with landlord Oxford Properties, the team negotiated an amendment to True North’s original lease permitting the relocation and secured an improvement allowance for True North to make space modifications.

 “True North has grown significantly over the years, and it needed a larger headquarters to contain its increasing workforce,” said Josh Hamill. “Our team successfully located a space that was in nearly move-in-ready condition, allowed True North to stay in its current location and provides the opportunity for future expansion.”

 Bow Valley Square is a Class-A office complex situated in the heart of Calgary’s downtown district. The complex is anchored by two levels of retail and dining options and includes a tenant lounge, rooftop patio, park, fitness center, on-site daycare, concierge services, and a conference center.
