Rapidly Expanding monday.com Triples Footprint via 110,000 SF Lease at 225 Park Avenue South

Savills represents monday.com as it significantly expands its New York City footprint

NEW YORK (August 22 2022) – Savills today announced that it represented monday.com, a work operating system (Work OS) where organizations of any size can create the tools and processes they need to manage every aspect of their work, in a 110,000-square-foot sublease at 225 Park Avenue South. The company will increase its existing footprint at 225 Park Avenue South as it rapidly scales its New York City operation.

“From the onset of the process, we understood that we needed to identify a space that adequately reflected monday.com’s brand and checked off all the boxes related to the company’s future business objectives,” said Kirill Azovtsev, executive managing director at Savills.

monday.com will be housed across floors 13 through 16 when it relocates to 225 Park Avenue South in September. The space includes multiple outdoor terraces, a kitchen, and a large interconnecting staircase allowing for easy travel between the floors the company will occupy. Additionally, monday.com will have a dedicated private entrance at the building.

“We are thrilled to welcome our employees and the monday.com community to our new office at 225 Park Avenue South. Finding a physical workspace that facilitates our unique culture while enabling our organization to scale accordingly, that’s also beautiful, in a great neighborhood, with lots of nearby amenities, and direct access to public transportation, is very exciting,” said Mor Avrahami, Director of Global Real Estate and Workplace, at monday.com. “With this impactful new chapter unfolding, we look forward to utilizing this amazing space to enhance our team's collaboration and to innovate for our customers around the globe.”

“A company like monday.com wants to be located in New York City’s top submarkets. We conducted an incredibly thorough search and uncovered a great opportunity at 225 Park Avenue South, a destination building in one of the tightest submarkets in the city,” Jim Wenk, vice chairman at Savills. “Despite limited availability for high-quality Class-A space in Flatiron, we were thrilled to have been able to negotiate a favorable transaction for our client.”

A Savills team of Jim Wenk, Kirill Azovtsev, Allison Buck, and Alex Redlus represented monday.com. The sublessor, Buzzfeed, was represented by CBRE’s Jason Frazer, Jesse Delarama, and Christopher Mansfield.
