Savills Welcomes Laura Knaus as Associate Director in Denver

Knaus brings expertise across aerospace and defense, life sciences, advanced manufacturing and professional services

DENVER (Oct. 20, 2026)—Savills announces Laura Knaus has joined as an Associate Director in its Denver office, strengthening the firm’s tenant advisory capabilities and continued growth in the region. Knaus reports to Managing Director Patrick Brady, and advises occupiers on real estate strategy, transaction management and portfolio optimization.

“Laura has built a strong reputation in the market, and we’re excited to have her join the team,” said Brady. “She brings strong relationships, transaction experience and, most importantly, the judgment and client-first mindset we look for in an advisor. We’ve built our team around people who can think beyond the transaction and understand how real estate supports a company’s broader business strategy, and Laura is a natural fit for where we’re headed.”

Knaus joins Savills from Cushman & Wakefield, where she most recently served as a Senior Associate in Denver. In her role, she advised C-suite executives on real estate strategy and portfolio decisions, using financial modeling to evaluate lease terms, occupancy costs, potential savings and capital expenditures. Her experience spans office, laboratory and industrial requirements, with a particular focus on clients in aerospace and defense, life sciences and advanced manufacturing.

“Savills has built a highly respected team in Denver with strong relationships across the market, and I saw an opportunity to join that momentum while taking the next step in my own career,” said Knaus. “The continued growth of the firm’s platform and capabilities gives clients access to broader expertise and resources to navigate increasingly complex real estate decisions, particularly in sectors such as life sciences and advanced manufacturing that support their broader business objectives.”

Throughout her career, Knaus has developed experience across transaction execution, account management, lease administration and strategic planning. She also has experience collaborating with specialists across disciplines including project management, finance and accounting, labor analytics and incentives to support clients throughout the real estate lifecycle.

“Laura’s addition reflects our continued investment in talented advisors who can bring the full breadth of Savills platform to clients,” said Executive Vice President and Denver Market Leader Brendan Fisher. “Denver is home to a dynamic mix of established and emerging industries, particularly in areas such as aerospace and defense, life sciences and advanced manufacturing. Laura’s experience in these sectors, coupled with her knowledge of the local market, will help us deepen our capabilities and create new opportunities for our clients and our business.”

Knaus is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Real Estate and the Built Environment at Daniels College of Business at University of Denver, where her studies include real estate finance, capital markets, entitlements, public finance and development. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies from the University of Texas at Austin with minors in business and Italian. Knaus also served as chair of Cushman & Wakefield’s Future Leaders Program in Colorado and previously participated in the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce’s Impact Denver program. She is a member of the Colorado Bioscience Association.
