Savills Carolinas’ Bracket Challenge Scores $3,000 for Charity

The firm’s Charlotte and Raleigh-Durham offices announce the winners of its second annual Savills College Basketball Bracket Challenge

Savills Carolinas offices in Charlotte and Raleigh-Durham sponsored the second annual Savills College Basketball Bracket Challenge for charity. Today the firm announced the winners and the nonprofit organizations that will receive donations totaling $3,000.

“One of our mottoes in the Savills Carolinas offices is ‘Do good, feel good,’” said Executive Vice President and Market Leader Mark Ayers, who developed and launched the initiative last year. “Savills is dedicated to the support of charitable organizations nationally and locally, whether it’s through servant leadership, volunteering time or underwriting material donations. With a history of specialization in tenant representation, advocacy and action are at the core of who we are and what we do.”

The two Savills locations established a prize pool and invited clients, prospects, market leaders and friends to participate and channel their passion for the NCAA tournament toward supporting good causes. Winners for each market earn bragging rights and the opportunity to nominate a charity of their choosing to receive a cash prize. First place winners receive $1,000 and runners up get $500. The amount is split equally in the event of a tie.
