HOUSTON (October 19, 2020) – PV Fluid Products new headquarters was honored with the Landmark Award in the industrial category at Houston Business Journal’s 2020 Landmark Awards, an online event held on Thursday, September 24. Project management services for the headquarters were provided by Savills Associate Director David Finklea.
PV Fluid Products provides the oil and gas industry with a range of downhole motor sections and services that improve drilling performance in directional and horizontal wells. Having secured additional contracts, PV needed a larger facility to house both its office and manufacturing employees. Clay Development & Construction Inc. was tapped to develop and build the new complex, located at 11901 Cutten Road in Houston.
Unlike traditional industrial buildings, the facility combines high-end office space with a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Finklea assisted with the design and build negotiations for the property and provided counsel on the office floorplan, HVAC requirements, and equipment layout. Additionally, Finklea conducted a workplace analysis to provide PV with recommendations on how to better optimize its new facility.
“PV Fluid Products’ new headquarters was one of the most exciting projects I have worked on as it uniquely combined industrial and office space all in one setting,” said Finklea. “The result was an efficient and modern workplace that boasts many of the amenities found in a Class A office building. I’m pleased to be recognized along with Clay Development & Construction and everyone at PV with this tremendous honor.”
