Savills has been recognized by The Washington Post as a 2021 Top Workplace in the Washington, DC area for the seventh time. Selection is based solely on employee feedback gathered through an anonymous third-party survey, which measured several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution and connection.
“Now in its eighth year, The Post’s Top Workplaces list continues to highlight the companies in the Washington-area that are leaders in company satisfaction and engagement,” said Washington Post Top Workplaces editor Dion Haynes. “Throughout the past 15 months, these companies have had to make quick decisions in order to keep their employees safe while also balancing productivity and efficiency, and their employees have taken note of this great work.”
Savills helps clients get more value out of their real estate. The firm’s integrated teams of expert consultants and brokers transcend conventional brokerage to develop occupancy solutions that drive productivity and profitability, with services in tenant representation, portfolio solutions, consulting, workforce and incentives strategy, workplace strategy and occupant experience, project management, client technology solutions and capital markets.
“We are honored to be named a top workplace in the Washington, DC region for a seventh time. The achievement is especially rewarding in a year of disruption when the firm was able to successfully weather the pandemic and safely transition to a remote workplace while ensuring employees were fully engaged” said Tom Fulcher, vice chairman and mid-Atlantic region lead at Savills.
"This recognition is a testament to the firm’s collaborative and engaged culture. Our strength as a firm is the dedication of every person in the organization to our clients’ interests and the organization’s unquestioning support of our people as they serve those interests."
Over the past year, Savills acquired project management firm Macro Consultants, expanded its workplace practice team, made new senior hires, and recently bolstered its life sciences division by acquiring brokerage T3 Advisors.
Savills boasts over 39,000 employees working together in more than 70 countries all over the world. The firm’s breadth of global coverage, combined with specialist services and market insight, allows it to always have an expert who is relevant and local. Within the Washington area, the company has offices in Tysons, Va., and the District.
