NEW YORK (April 12, 2022) – Savills today announced that Angela McCluskey has joined the firm as a senior managing director. McCluskey is a former director of real estate strategy and operations at global law firm DLA Piper LLP (DLA Piper) and former global head of corporate real estate for Ares Management Corp. She will work alongside Savills vice chairmen Jeffrey Peck and Daniel Horowitz, and their team, at the firm’s 399 Park Avenue location.

“Angela brings a unique skill set to Savills – and considering her background in leading the global real estate strategy in both law and financial services, her hire further positions the firm to be the premier tenant advocate in a time of tremendous change and evolving real estate needs,” said Janet Woods, vice chairman and Northeast region lead for Savills.

On the Peck and Horowitz team, McCluskey will be responsible for advocating for tenants in all aspects of their real estate needs, most notably real estate strategy and transaction management. In addition, she will work closely with the firm’s key business functions, including its workplace and workforce strategy teams and project management group to provide clients with a full suite of services.

McCluskey brings 20 plus years of real estate experience to Savills. Over the course of her career, she has been responsible for managing more than 2.8 million square feet of real estate across 85 locations in 12 countries and four continents.

In addition, she specializes across all facets of corporate real estate, most notably designing creative strategies and initiatives to improve occupancy and operational efficiencies and reduce costs for global financial services and professional services organizations. McCluskey achieves this through a mastery of lease negotiation, portfolio optimization, change management, budget/cost forecasting and construction project management.

McCluskey attended West Virginia State University and Capella University and holds a BA in Business Administration.
