CHICAGO (May 12, 2022) - Savills confirmed a low-cost and move-in ready real estate solution for cryptocurrency firm, Stacked. Chicago-based startup Stacked is growing at an accelerated rate with an anticipated headcount growth of almost 70%. The cryptocurrency firm was looking for a new headquarters and tapped Savills Assistant Director Stephen Scott to discover a solution that was cost-effective and offered flexibility for its expansion plans. The location also needed to be close to major public transportation and provide updated amenities.
Savills identified a sublease at 300 S. Wacker totaling 8,332 square feet, previously occupied by a technology firm. The space was in move-in ready condition, provided the office layout Stacked desired, included furniture, and the building was recently upgraded. The solution allows Stacked the opportunity to grow into a space that is already outfitted with the specifications it needs and its current expansion plans and business objectives.
“We sought a real estate partner who could anticipate our needs as our company grows. The challenge was finding a space previously outfitted for a tech company that we could immediately move into,” said Stacked co-founder Stephen Beavis. “Savills located an office that was move-in ready and aligned with the economics of our expansion plans. We are looking forward to growing our headquarters in Chicago, and we trust Savills to continue to aid in our expansion needs.”
