Elevate Aircraft Seating Leases 280k SF in Huntington Beach, CA

The aircraft seating manufacturer, formerly known as Adient Aerospace, expanded to a new facility in Huntington Beach

ORANGE COUNTY (May 20, 2025) – Savills oversaw the real estate growth plan for, Elevate Aircraft Seating, previously known as Adient Aerospace. Elevate designs, manufactures, and sells a portfolio of seating products to airlines and aircraft leasing companies. The company will lease the full 280,460-square-foot facility at the McDonnell Center Business Park located at 5701 Skylab Road in Huntington Beach. Savills Vice Chairman Steve Card and Senior Managing Director Chris O’Connor represented Elevate in lease negotiations.

“Elevate Aircraft Seating is growing rapidly and sought a new manufacturing facility to increase its production and distribution capabilities,” said O’Connor. “This transaction was a unique challenge as Elevate required a facility that provided both expansive office and warehouse space. After evaluating the real estate and labor market, we determined that expanding into an additional facility in Huntington Beach was an ideal solution for the company’s requirement. The location allows Elevate to tap into the current labor market, provides 40,000 of office space and the company can occupy the premises immediately.”

Elevate Aircraft Seating will continue to reside in its 80,000-square-foot facility next door at 5511 Skylab Road. The facility at 5701 Skylab Road was previously leased to Savills client Hybrid Apparel. The two-story industrial property was built in 2000 and is owned by Prologis, Inc.

“This is a rare manufacturer expansion in Southern California that will provide Elevate the ability to grow quickly and efficiently by immediately occupying the new facility,” added Card. “We are excited to see their expansion in the market and are looking forward to the value they will bring to the local community as they continue to grow.”

Elevate’s Senior Facilities Manager Jeff Lovers worked closely with Savills during the lease negotiations and shared, “They were very professional and patient through the process to satisfy all levels of our management,” said Lovers. “It felt more like a partnership then a client relationship. Chris O’Connor provided several properties that were within our target location and size, helping us narrow down the decision to this wonderful property here in McDonnell Center Business Park.”
