NEW YORK (April 9, 2020) – Savills has announced that 13 of its commercial real estate professionals have been named 2020 Top Brokers by Connect Media. Executives were selected from over 500 submissions, and transactions considered included 2019 total dollar volume, total deal square footage and total number of transactions. 

About the winners: 

Northeast

• David Goldstein is a vice chairman, New York office branch manager and director on the firm’s board. Throughout his 30-year career, many of the world’s Fortune 500 companies and professional services firms have trusted him to grow and manage their real estate footprints. In 2019 alone, he executed transactions valued in excess of $1 billion dollars. 

• James Halepis is a senior vice president and branch manager for the Boston office. With over 15 years of experience, Halepis is known for developing creative real estate strategies in a multitude of markets, both foreign and domestic. Last year, he completed 41 transactions totaling in excess of $87 million.

Southeast 

• The Savills team of Vice Chairmen Julie Rayfield, Art Greenberg, David Lipson and Thomas Fulcher was responsible for 40 transactions totaling over $1 billion in volume last year. The Washington-based group has been together for more than 30 years, providing a wide range of services to private sector and government tenants.

Midwest

• Robert Sevim and Joe Learner are vice chairmen and co-heads of the Chicago region at Savills. The top-producing duo has worked together for more than 15 years and bring over 45 years of combined commercial real estate experience to each client engagement. Sevim and Learner executed 89 deals in 2019, totaling 1.6 million square feet and $426 million in value.

• John Goodman and Eric Feinberg are also vice chairmen in firm’s Chicago office. The team, which completed 82 transactions totaling 1.6 million square feet last year, is credited with one of Downtown Chicago’s largest deals of 2019 (i.e., RSM; 165,323 square feet), as well as one of the largest in Suburban Chicago (i.e., Lundbeck; 73,000 square feet). 

West Coast

• Mark Sullivan, vice chairman and western region lead at Savills, is based in the firm’s Downtown Los Angeles office. Working closely alongside Vice Chairman Josh Gorin, and Senior Managing Director Andrew Lustgarten, the team completed 80 transactions valued at more than $2 billion in 2019. 

The awards announcement comes as Savills furthers its commitment of delivering smarter workplace solutions with global knowledge, local expertise and world-class advice to clients across North America. Earlier this year, the firm acquired leading project management firm Macro Consultants, and expanded its online office listing platform and specialized advisory service Workthere to the West Coast.
