Compass Lexecon Moves Chicago Office to Two Pru

Savills relocates the leading global economic consulting firm to the trophy office building currently under renovation in the East Loop

CHICAGO (May 1, 2025) – Savills managed the real estate plan for global economic consulting firm Compass Lexecon, a subsidiary of FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN), that resulted in a long-term leasetransaction. The firm will relocate its Chicago office this fall from its longtime home at 332 S. Michigan Avenue to the 53rd and 54th floors of Two Pru, totaling 31,218 square feet.

The project was led by Savills Vice Chairmen Eric Feinberg and John Goodman along with Managing Directors Brandon Nasatir and Isabel (Preskill) Schwartz. Riverside Investment & Development’s Daniel Heckman and Annie Kwasigroch represented Pru’s owner, Wanxiang America Real Estate Group, in the transaction.

“Compass Lexecon sought an efficient, future-focused workspace for its Chicago office in an upgraded building in the East Loop submarket,” said Feinberg. “We uncovered a compelling opportunity at Two Pru that has unparalleled views and is conveniently located near many amenities along Michigan Avenue. The firm can capitalize on existing infrastructure while implementing key upgrades to tailor the space to its requirements.”

As a leading global economic consulting firm, Compass Lexecon has been involved in a broad spectrum of matters related to antitrust and competition, finance, and international arbitration — providing critical insight to its law firm, corporate, and government clients in legal and regulatory proceedings, strategic decisions, and public policy debates across all industries.

Compass Lexecon Chairman Daniel Fischel added, “Our move to Two Pru builds on our nearly 50-year history in Chicago by providing our people with a modern office space that enables them to more effectively collaborate and offers us the flexibility to continue to attract and develop leading talent to better serve our clients.”

Located across from Millennium Park, the Pru complex offers ground-floor retail and dining and is within walking distance of major city landmarks. Pru’s hospitality-focused renovations, which began in 2024, are ongoing and set to significantly enhance tenant experience. Planned upgrades include a 20,000-square-foot conferencing center, co-working areas, a staffed bar with food and beverage options, an entertainment suite with golf simulators, and a fully revamped fitness center with premium features like cold plunges and infrared saunas. Later this year, the outdoor deck will expand to include a pickleball court, new landscaping, and a bar overlooking Millennium Park. Lobby updates across both buildings are also in progress.
