Savills 20th Annual Landlord Challenge Raises $135,000 for Local Charities

The milestone event brings total fundraising to over $3.5 million for Chicago children and families since its inception in 2005

CHICAGO (November 19, 2025) – Savills recently hosted its 20th Annual Landlord Challenge golf outing that for the past two decades has supported local charities focused on improving educational access and opportunities for Chicagoland underserved youth and schools. Held in Glencoe, the evening brought together over 150 of Chicago’s top real estate professionals to raise funds to benefit organizations Bernie’s Book Bank and Cradles to Crayons.

This year’s event raised approximately $135,000, bringing the event’s 20-year fundraising total to more than $3.5 million. Funds directly support literacy, clothing, and school resources for underserved children across Chicagoland. The benefit consisted of a luncheon, golf tournament, cocktail reception, and dinner during which awards were presented. A team representing Golun & Company took first place in the tournament

The annual benefit was co-chaired by Savills team members Eric Feinberg and Zak Mirkowski, and the host committee included John Goodman, Brandon Nasatir, Isabel Preskill, Lisa Davidson, David Mahoney, John Conerty, Chris Tarzon, Joe Learner, Bernice Ramos, Elizabeth Kaleta, Jon Chickini, and Brian Czarnecki. The Telos Group, Riverside Investment & Development, Golub & Company, Tishman Speyer, and Stream Realty Partners were major sponsors.

“The Savills Landlord Challenge Golf Event has become one of the most anticipated annual events in Chicago’s real estate community,” said Feinberg. “It’s a noteworthy example of how deeply our industry cares about giving back and supporting the city we’re proud to call home. Over the past 20 years, we’ve raised more than $3.5 million for Chicago-based charities, and our Savills team is honored to help bring everyone together for such a meaningful cause.”

“We are grateful to our generous sponsors, all the participating golfers, and our Savills Chicago team for their work making the Landlord Challenge an annual marquee event,” added Goodman. “We look forward to continuing this legacy of community impact for the next 20 years and beyond.”

The two beneficiaries this year were Bernie’s Book Bank, an organization that sources, processes, and distributes quality new and gently used children’s books to significantly increase book ownership among under-served infants, toddlers, and school-age children throughout Chicagoland and Cradles to Crayons, a non-profit organization that provides resources such as school supplies and clothing to homeless and low-income children.
